Entry Criteria

Programme Requirements

The Elite Programme is by invitation only. Entry is based on the following criteria:

  • Technical Ability: Minimum green belt level (or equivalent experience)
  • Commitment: Ability to attend 3+ training sessions per week
  • Competition Experience: Previous competition experience or strong desire to compete
  • Age: Typically 12+ years (younger athletes considered based on ability)
  • Attitude: Dedication, discipline, and willingness to push limits

Beyond the standard dobok, elite athletes need full sparring gear: headguard, body protector, forearm guards, shin guards, groin guard, gum shield, and electronic scoring socks. We can advise on quality equipment.
